Everything the plan actually covers
The engineers who survey your premises, install the system and answer the call at two in the morning are ADS Group engineers on ADS Group payroll. Nothing here is subcontracted.
Survey and specification
An engineer walks the premises, notes the risk areas, the exit routes and the rooms that need heat rather than smoke detection, and produces the specification your price is built on. On site, with no obligation, and a written report that is yours to keep. The nominal survey charge is credited in full against your subscription if you go ahead.
Installation in a single day
The system is wireless, so there is no channelling of walls, no cable trays and no rewiring. It goes in inside one day and you keep trading through it. We fitted a full dental practice recently and they did not lose an hour.
24/7 monitoring
Watched around the clock by a certified alarm receiving centre. Out of hours activations are handled, escalated and logged, rather than left ringing into an empty building.
Four inspections a year
An engineer on site four times a year, testing devices, checking batteries, logging results and keeping the system in the condition your certificate says it is in.
Certification and documentation
Your compliance certificate is issued on the day of install against IS 3218:2024, and reissued after every inspection. We hold the records, so when your insurer or an inspector asks, it is one phone call.
Upgrading an ageing system
If you already have an alarm and it is over ten years old, the standard has moved. We will tell you honestly whether yours still meets it, and if it does not, the plan replaces it with nothing to pay upfront.
Extinguisher servicing to IS 291
Annual service, pressure check, refill or replacement, and correct siting and signage. Included on Shield, Sentinel and Command.
