Monitored Fire Alarms for Businesses
Fire alarm monitoring connects the alarm system to a monitoring centre so an activation is not dependent solely on somebody being present to hear the alarm. FirePulse includes a monitored alarm as part of the monthly contract.
Who this is for
- Premises that are empty overnight, at weekends or during holidays
- Businesses beside neighbours who would rather not be the ones raising the alarm
- Owners who currently have an alarm that only sounds on site
An alarm that only sounds on site
A sounder is useful when people are in the building. When the premises is closed, an alarm that only sounds locally depends on somebody nearby noticing it and acting.
Most small premises spend more hours closed than open, which is exactly when a fire is least likely to be seen quickly.
How monitoring works on FirePulse
The FirePulse alarm is connected to monitoring rather than simply sounding inside the premises, so an activation is signalled rather than left to be heard.
Monitoring sits on the same monthly contract as the servicing and certification, so there is no separate monitoring supplier or invoice.
What is included
- A monitored fire alarm as part of the FirePulse contract
- Monitoring on the same agreement as servicing and certification
- One supplier and one monthly figure
What we do not claim
- We do not set out a response procedure or a response time on this page. Ask us and ADS Group will confirm exactly what happens on an activation at your premises.
- Monitoring signals an activation. It does not prevent a fire.
