Fire Alarm Servicing and Certification
Fire alarm certification is the documentation issued in relation to the fire alarm system and the servicing carried out on it. On FirePulse, the relevant servicing certification is handled as part of the monthly contract rather than chased separately.
Who this is for
- Owners asked for fire alarm paperwork by an insurer, landlord or inspector
- Premises where records exist somewhere but nobody is sure where
- Businesses that want certification and servicing from the same supplier
The certificate is usually needed at short notice
Requests for fire alarm paperwork tend to arrive with little warning, from a landlord, an insurer or an inspection.
If servicing and certification sit with different suppliers, or with a supplier who is no longer in contact, producing the paperwork becomes a search rather than a phone call.
How certification works on FirePulse
Because servicing and certification sit on the same contract, the servicing record and the certification issued for it stay together with ADS Group.
If you need to know precisely which documents are issued for your premises, ask us before you sign. We would rather confirm it than describe it vaguely.
What is included
- The relevant FirePulse servicing certification, handled under the contract
- Servicing records kept alongside the certification
- One supplier to ask when paperwork is requested
What we do not claim
- We only supply the certification ADS Group actually issues. We do not describe or imply certificates that are not part of the FirePulse contract.
- Certification relates to the fire alarm system and its servicing. It is not a statement that every fire safety requirement for the premises is satisfied.
- No inspection outcome is promised.

Common questions
Is certification included in FirePulse?
The relevant FirePulse servicing certification is handled as part of the monthly contract.
What fire alarm paperwork should a business keep?
Keep the servicing records for the system and the certification issued with them, in one place that somebody other than you could find. Our guide covers this in plain English.
Will certification mean I pass an inspection?
No supplier can tell you that, and we will not. Certification tells you about the fire alarm system and its servicing. Inspection outcomes are a matter for the relevant authority.
Who holds the records?
ADS Group keeps the servicing records for systems under FirePulse contract, so there is one place to ask.
