Commercial Fire Alarm Systems in Ireland
A commercial fire alarm system is the detection and alarm system installed in a business premises so that a fire is detected and signalled. With FirePulse, the system is supplied, monitored, serviced and certified by ADS Group under one monthly contract rather than bought outright and maintained separately.
Who this is for
- Premises with no alarm system, or one that is no longer trusted
- Owners replacing a system installed many years ago
- Businesses that want the system and its upkeep from one supplier
Buying a system is the easy part
Most owners do not struggle to have an alarm installed. They struggle with what happens afterwards: who services it, who holds the records, who answers when it activates at two in the morning, and what the next invoice will be for.
A system that nobody has tested for a long time is still a system. It is just not one anybody can say much about with confidence.
How FirePulse supplies the system
The survey establishes what the premises needs: where detection is required, what type suits each area, and where sounders and call points belong.
The system is then installed and connected to monitoring, with servicing and the relevant certification continuing under the FirePulse contract. The ongoing relationship is with ADS Group, whose engineers carry out the work.
What is included
- A system specified for the premises after survey
- Connection to monitoring rather than a sounder alone
- Ongoing servicing under the monthly contract
- The relevant FirePulse servicing certification
- One supplier and one monthly figure
What we do not claim
- We do not claim a particular system makes a premises compliant on its own. Fire safety duties depend on the premises.
- Detection types and quantities are confirmed by the survey, not promised in advance from a web page.

Common questions
What is the difference between a commercial and a domestic fire alarm?
A commercial system is designed and installed for a business premises, with detection coverage, sounders and call points appropriate to how the building is used and occupied, rather than the smoke alarms fitted in a home.
Do I own the system on FirePulse?
On the FirePulse contract the system is supplied as part of the monthly agreement rather than bought outright. If you would prefer to purchase a system instead, ADS Group can quote for that separately.
Can you work with the system already installed?
Sometimes. It depends on the system, its condition and what the survey finds. We will tell you plainly rather than replace something that does not need replacing.
How disruptive is the installation?
Where the approved FirePulse installation applies, the work is completed in one working day, which is what keeps most premises trading through it.
Who carries out the work?
